The Exeter centre is just 10 mins walk from the ancient city centre. What's more, the beautiful moors are just 10 miles away and the sandy beaches and coves are just as close.
The house was bought in March 2004 and is a traditional English terrace built in the 1880s. It has been modernised whilst keeping many of it's original features - with the addition of a landscaped garden! The ground floor has a very relaxed living space where the focus is usually the open kitchen and garden, or the open fire in the lounge. There are two big rooms for people to live in.
The meditation room is in the top of the house and is now being prepared. Although using traditional Buddhist art, it is being designed to have a very contemporary feel.
The centre will become a place for a relaxed and dynamic community for those interested in meditation practise, learning about the nature of mind, and combining these with modern active lives.
